Easton Castle was built by C.A. Bliss in 1888, one of the wealthiest men in Aberdeen at that time.
It is supposedly haunted by the ghost of a woman named "Dorothy", who frequents the grounds and upper floor.
Other phenomena include disembodied footsteps and the sounds of floorboards creaking.
According to Lewis and Fisk, it is NOT open to the public. For a fascinating insight into the history and literary connections associated with Easton Castle, we highly recommend reading their book.
